How many weeks pregnant am I today?
Choose either your estimated due date or the first day of your last period. The calculator counts whole days to your selected date, then divides by seven. For example, 73 elapsed days equals 10 completed weeks and 3 days. You are then in your 11th week, although a care team normally records the age as 10 weeks, 3 days.
Due date versus last-period dating
A confirmed due date gives the calculator a 40-week reference point: estimated pregnancy start is due date minus 280 days. Last-period mode counts directly from that period’s first day. Both methods describe gestational age, not time since conception. If the two disagree, use the dating your prenatal clinician recommends.
Checking another date
Change Calculate as of to an appointment date to see your gestational age then. The tool accepts ages from the estimated start through 42 weeks and flags dates outside that range. A result after 40 weeks is a calendar calculation, not advice to wait for care. Follow the follow-up plan provided by your obstetric team.
